Return & Refund Policy – Modest Ones

At Modest Ones, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If there is an issue with your order, please review the policy below before submitting a return request.

All return and refund requests must be submitted through our Returns Portal.

Important Notices

By placing an order with Modest Ones, you agree to the terms outlined in this Return & Refund Policy.

Customers are responsible for the full return process, including:

  • Selecting and arranging the return shipping carrier

  • Paying all return-related costs including shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes

  • Ensuring items are unused, unworn, unwashed, and returned in original packaging

  • Using a trackable shipping service

  • Providing a valid tracking number through the Returns Portal

Returns that do not follow these requirements may be rejected or refused.

For returns shipped from outside the European Union, a $45 return handling fee applies due to customs processing costs.


Return Shipping & Costs

All approved returns must be sent to our designated return warehouse.

Customers are responsible for all return-related costs, including but not limited to:

  • Return shipping fees

  • Customs duties and taxes

  • Import/export fees

  • Carrier handling fees

Tracked shipping is mandatory.

Once the item has been shipped, the tracking number must be submitted through the Returns Portal.

Returns sent without prior approval through the portal may not be accepted.


Color Variation Disclaimer

Product colors may appear slightly different due to:

  • Screen display settings

  • Lighting conditions during photography

  • Device differences

These variations are normal and not considered defects.

By placing an order with Modest Ones, customers acknowledge and accept that minor color differences are not valid grounds for refunds, cancellations, or disputes.


Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The item is defective

  • The item is damaged upon delivery

  • The wrong item was received

To qualify for a return:

  • A return request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery

  • The request must be submitted through the Returns Portal

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and in original packaging

Requests submitted after 30 days may not be accepted.


Return Process

1. Submit a Return Request

Customers must submit their request through the Returns Portal:

You will be required to provide:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos or video evidence (if applicable)

Incomplete requests may delay the review process.


2. Return Approval

If your request is approved, return instructions will be provided through the portal.

Customers must:

  • Ship the item using a tracked shipping method

  • Submit the tracking number through the portal

Failure to provide tracking information may result in refund denial.


Inspection & Refunds

Once the returned item arrives at our warehouse, it will be inspected.

If the return meets our policy requirements, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear after processing.

Refunds may be reduced or refused if items are returned:

  • Used

  • Damaged by the customer

  • Without original packaging


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return, unless defective:

  • Discounted or sale items

  • Product bundles

  • Certain items such as intimate wear and accessories


Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Submitting a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us through the Returns Portal may delay resolution and investigation.

We strongly encourage customers to use the official Returns Portal for the fastest resolution.

Our team will review requests and provide instructions directly through the portal.

 

Delivery Confirmation

Orders are considered successfully delivered once the shipping carrier marks the package as delivered to the address provided at checkout.

Modest Ones is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced packages after delivery confirmation by the carrier.

If a package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, customers must contact the shipping carrier directly to open an investigation.

Refunds or replacements will not be issued for packages marked as delivered.


Incorrect Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout.

Modest Ones is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, customers may be responsible for additional reshipping costs.

Orders cannot be refunded once they have been shipped to the address entered at checkout.


Refused Deliveries

If a customer refuses delivery of a package, the shipment may be returned to our warehouse.

In such cases the following may be deducted from the refund amount:

  • Shipping fees

  • Return shipping costs

  • Customs duties

  • Carrier handling fees

If the carrier disposes of the package due to refusal or failed delivery, the order will not be eligible for a refund.


Fit & Sizing Disclaimer

Customers are responsible for reviewing the product size guide before placing an order.

Sizing issues or personal fit preferences are not considered defects and may not qualify for a refund unless the item is defective or incorrect.
